Where Monday.com is genuinely better

If your team's process really is unlike anyone else's, Monday.com lets you model it exactly: custom columns and statuses, forms that feed boards, automations that assign and notify, dashboards for managers who live one level up. It has native mobile apps and an integration catalogue Todoing doesn't try to match, and larger organisations get the admin, permission and audit layers a team-sized tool doesn't need.

Where Todoing is better for a small team

The trade Monday.com asks for is configuration, and configuration doesn't stay done. Someone owns the boards, prunes the columns, untangles the automations that stopped firing. In a fifteen-person team that someone has a day job.

Todoing skips the assembly. The whole team's week is the home screen: every person, every day, every project in its own colour, milestones on the same calendar as the tasks. A board shows you status; the week grid shows you capacity, which is the thing a small team actually argues about. Leave and public holidays shade the grid, so nobody plans work onto someone's day off. Completing a task can log its planned time, and over months that history turns into estimates you can quote from. Nobody fills in a timesheet for any of it.
